About Candidate

I’m Johan Herselman Safety Officer at MCM blasting and Coating, Im currently working in the manufacturing industry and I have gained 2 years experience, going into my 3rd year in safety, I want grow further more in my career path, because I have the necessary skills and I am hungry and will be a great asset to your company. The reason for leaving MCM is that there is no growth for me there and I want to grow, the company is busy with retrenchments because not making profit, I want to learn more and I have passion for health and safety, this is what I eat, sleep and breath. The difference between me and someone with more experience than me is, I’m not just applying for a job and going through the motions I want to make a difference in the workplace and where I can improve the work conditions and make it a safe working environment.  My SACPCMP registration is in progress. I’m just waiting for an examination date.

I am a highly motivated progress-focused HSE Officer. I have learned to provide safety management, thus also consistently monitoring and improving safety management systems, reporting in the workplace and safe practice. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. I contribute leadership, decision-making and safety towards team efforts and business improvements.

MY EXPERIENCE AS SAFETY OFFICER: Managing MCM Covid – 19 protocols and Covid – 19 management systems Improving MCM Safety Management system Knowledge of the OSHA, NEMA COID act, using on a daily basis. Creating safety plans, environmental plan, and writing of MCM HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) policies Monitoring Companies active system making sure all safety aspects of company is up to date Building of Safety site files and other client’s safety files.
