About Candidate

I have over 14 years experience in Human Resources, my formative years I was focused on doing the basic administration of human resources.

My current role has allowed me to participate in the Safety Audits, HR and DOL audits. To ensure full compliance of the policies by educating the business on the policies and procedures of the organisation. The organisation recently introduced a new self service system which I was responsible for ensuring that business uses and are well trained on.

My previous experience allowed me to assist with the ATR and WSP submissions and working for a SETA has exposed me to the different processes in the background and the importance of the submission of the aforementioned. Furthermore, ensuring that performance appraisals are done within the required period and performance management documents are documented accordingly.

As a HRBP, I am responsible for the full recruitment cycle for employees at all the levels I am responsible for. I did a project where I needed to appoint 52 Limited Duration employees within a short period of time for a milling project we had recently acquired. These appointments included the blue collar and white collar employees, who had to be local to site.

I am responsible for providing HR support to managers for the conducting of disciplinary hearings and guidance in the issuing of warnings. In the event that the disciplinary hearing ends in a dismissal and we receive a referral to the CCMA, I become the company’s representative at the commission.
