I am fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, currently working as Chief Financial Officer/Finance Director in Worley responsible for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain. I am looking for move and therefore sending this letter and updated CV, for your perusal.


Summarizing my professional career of 30 plus years, that includes 10 years in Engineering & Resources Industry for Hydrocarbon, Public Infrastructure, Mineral & Chemicals and Power sector, 11 years in Oil & Gas with Schlumberger and Baker Hughes, where I worked on different assignments in Middle & Far East and Africa. Assignments covered of Business partnering with CEO/Location Director including Board on company’s results and strategies, leading group of professionals, Focal point for Financial Restructuring, Bid and Tender reviews, review of financial statements, reporting to Head Quarters, periodical forecasting & budgeting together with providing the Senior Management with information on financial issues, analysis, exposures and statistics for an efficient management of operations. I also worked for 2 years in largest commercial bank in Pakistan (HBL) after 8 years with Big 4 (PWC and Arthur Andersen). Business Partnering, Restructuring, Change Management, ERP and Shared Service implementation are some of the accolades that I achieved during my career.

Chief Financial Officer / Finance Director for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain (based in Al-Khobar) Chief Financial Officer for Sub Saharan Africa (based in Johannesburg) Chief Financial Officer for UAE, Iraq, Egypt & Libya (based in Abu Dhabi) Worley is an Australia based Engineering Company, delivers projects, provides expertise in engineering, procurement and construction and offers a wide range of consulting and advisory services. After 3 successful years each in United Arab Emirates and South Africa, in 2018, moved to Saudi Arabia as CFO / Finance Director for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain Saudi Arabia & Bahrain - Responsible for Finance/Tax for turnover of USD 250M. Overseeing the overall finance function with 20 staff, managing Internal & External relationship, Commercial & Bidding for successful project wins, cost optimization, people development, ongoing merger with Jacobs. Prior to Saudi Arabia, led the Restructuring of UAE and later in Sub Saharan Africa Finance and looked after the whole business with annual turnover of USD 225M and USD 80M respectively.
