About Candidate

I hold an undergraduate degree in politics, international relations and sociology and currently pursuing
a postgraduate degree in politics and International relations specializing in disability research,
HIV/AIDS and Human Rights and international human rights organizations.
I believe my education has equipped me with a nuanced perspective on social issues as well as
qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research skills.

I am a social scientist at heart. I fell in love with the social sciences in a law class. Much to my parents’ dismay, I was more interested in why laws are developed. Reading case law like S v Makwanyane got me interested in questions on morality and political philosophy. There is nothing more fascinating to me than cultural shifts in society.

I have many passions in the social sciences. I am fascinated by every aspect of society, I love talking to people, studying them. I believe my work experience has equipped me with great communication skills. It allows me to navigate different spaces.
