Work & Experience
Working within the Industry Affairs division where our main role is to ensure that decisions taken within the Sugar Industry structures are supportive and in the best interests of the company within the regulated market. In this role my key responsibilities and daily roles are: Assisting the Industry Affairs Manager with influencing and making key decisions. Submitting Monthly Reports of the sales and relevant statistics of the industry. Engaging with top level management, internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and changes to be made within the company to align with the industry. Getting a better understanding of the industry so as to assist the Industry Affairs Manager in influencing decisions made. Keep Industry Affairs Manager up to date on any changes within the Sugar Industry. Participation in all discussions around diversification. (Bio-fuel and Co-generation) Assess the situation and determine the kind of project to be carried out to improve that situation.
As a customer services agent I work to ensure that the customer receives their requested order at the right price and in full ensuring that the customer is satisfied and will always come back to do business with the company. In this role my key responsibilities are: Optimize the Order to Cash process. Provide information to new customers on queries and applications, and co-ordinate the customer application and approval process. Process customer orders on the nominated order date (NOD) through adherence to the procedure, and working closely with Sales, Finance and Logistics (Planning and Execution) to ensure effective order delivery on the nominate delivery date (NDD). Proactively canvas and influence orders to optimise delivery loads, increase sales and maximise revenue options. Track loading of trucks through to final delivery at the customer, and liaise with the Transporter and Warehouse to resolve any issues that may arise. Communicate with Customer and Sales team to update on delivery status (Tracking report). Communicate the outcome of resolution of late/ non delivery to customer. Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in Order to Cash processes and customer service delivery. Generate and influence orders through telesales and e-mails. Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance and Logistics to effectively execute the customer order. Track customer deliveries to ensure the right stock is delivered at the right time.
