My name is Richard Mazibuko, I am a level 1 Welding and fabrication inspector (SAIW DIPLOMA, GRADUATED 2014). I worked at Rand Water Capital projects for more than 5 years ( May 2016 to December 2021) and gained invaluable experience in trenching, pipelaying, welding, coating and lining, bedding, steel and concrete works.

Ensure that contractors/service providers adhere and comply to all relevant and applicable project specifications and standards and required documentations (i.e. method statements, qcp’s, itp’s etc.) are provided, reviewed and approved for the following site/project activities. : Trenching, Bedding, Pipe laying, steel fixing (bending schedules), concrete casting (slump and cube tests) etc. All follow applicable minimum SANS standards. : Welding activities are as per API codes provided : Pipe surface preparations for coating and wrapping applications are done as per NACE standards applicable
Maintenance of old pressure vessels Replacement of manual valves Installation of new self-regulating valves
