I am a recent graduate at Berea College Of  Technology with a diploma in Information Technology. I chose this field because I want to achieve my set of goals and keeping myself dynamic in the changing scenario to became an IT Specialist taking up challenging work in the industrial structure with creative and diversified projects and to be part of the constructive and the fast- growing world.

Alongside having an open mind and eager to learn I have extensive knowledge of IT Support tasks such as hardware and software troubleshooting, software installations, network configurations and basic knowledge of programming.

My mind is set on working with the forward- thinking company which values continuous learning so that i can be able to put my computer skills on test and learn as much as possible from the top experts in the field.

I believe that IT Operations is a dynamic and evolving field that requires constant learning and updating of skills. Whether you are a system administrator, a network engineer, a security analyst, or any other IT Operations role, you need to keep up with the latest trends, technologies, best practices, and challenges in the industry. After getting my formal qualification I joined a system development learnership just to upskill myself while I was looking for proper workplace in the IT field. So in this learnership I had my hands on couple of programming languages python and HTML I also worked on databases. It was a one year learnership first 4 month I was expected to complete project of developing a real application using python for coding. I accomplished the project within that given period of time then I was placed at Invotech for 8 months workplace. fortunately enough I got an internship at Sappi Southern Africa where I am currently gaining great knowledge of different technologies can now stand firm and say I am ready for work environment

I am currently within Sappi IT Operations Team, I have my hands on to many systems and technology facilities as well. Duties Include: •Monitoring client and server systems using Active Directory and Domain Controllers. •Building robots using UIPATH Studio. •Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals. •Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems, including operating systems, applications, and utilities. •Maintaining and updating the server logs of the incident and its resolution. •Setting up Desktops and Laptops with Microsoft operating systems and applications. •Assisting with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment, conference room systems, and other technology infrastructure. •Collaborating with the IT team to implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and antivirus software. •Providing guidance and training to end-users on the effective use of technology resources and tools.
