Gathering and interpreting requirements from stakeholders in line with analysis frameworks. Analysing and understanding business requirements through the use of structured process documentation, validating and translating these into specifications to be used by developers in crafting technical solutions and by testers. Organising and facilitating large scale sessions with senior client stakeholders. Effectively guiding the discussion, providing clarity and asking probing questions. Being a liaison between key stakeholders and the project team to determine client needs and translating these into business requirements. Co-managing finances with the project manager on a R300 million project with several vendors (internationally and locally based). This includes forecasting of costs, obtaining budget, creation of purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and resolution of any payment issues. Controlling all Identity Access Management (IAM) functions for +70 contractors assigned to the project. Which involves providing access to the client environment, identifying and resolving issues with user profiles etc. Maintaining the project’s health by creating and managing of all project repositories. Ensuring that these are organised, logical and easily accessible.
Providing specialised forex information and guidance to all emigrant clients in terms of exchange control regulations. Submitting of applications to the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) on behalf the client. Advice given to medium to large assurance companies and claimants regarding death claims/benefits accrued to beneficiaries. Responsible for the exchange control ad hoc project during this period, which involved the storing and updating of sensitive client information in accordance with regulations set forth in the protection of personal information act no. 4 (POPI) which equated to +- 10 000 artefacts.
