Job Description

A 20 year veteran in the South African online
space which holds exclusive rights to resell advertising technologies, including InMobi, the world’s
largest in-app advertising platform. We’re looking to take advantage of the explosion for relevant
data and rich media and need additional sales staff in Gauteng, KZN and Cape Town to meet the demand in the market.

Responsibilities
Generating new business from brands and agencies
Maintaining some existing clients in addition to bringing your own client base
Running with a campaign from strategising and pitching through to launch, billing and reporting
Liaison with agencies, brands, industry bodies, third parties and internal departments.
Work within a team, reporting to a manager and answerable to the CEO
Manage personal sales pipeline.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and report to management in a timely and consistent manner.
Share customer/ industry feedback and insights with internal partners.
Identifying relevant opportunities and capitalizing on Group product set
Requirements
Ability to understand original advertising solutions and be proficient within a month
B2B media sales experience is preferred, but not essential.
Three years+ media sales experience specialising in digital media.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and close complex packages.
Knowledge of internet technologies and the online advertising sales market.
Experience in selling to clients at a senior management/ director level.
The ability to apply creative solutions to advertising briefs and create strong bespoke sales packages
in a highly competitive marketplace.
Established relationships with Gauteng agencies and clients
Qualification in sales / advertising or relevant experience essential
Agency knowledge / agency relationships essential

Personal Skills/Attributes:

Expert Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
Knowledge of advertising concepts such as Analytics, DFP, Facebook, Google, AdWords
Grasp of rates (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPI etc)
Understanding of recent advertising concepts and trends regarding audience data, legislation,
beaconing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Consistent performer with a proven track record.
Excellent relationship builder.
Excellent presentation skills.
Target driven.
Strong commercial acumen.
Motivated and ability to work independently.
Able to work remotely when required
Good negotiation skill
