We are looking for young, qualified, intelligent, and driven individuals to join our team during this exciting period of growth for the company. The hiring company sources and structures various investment opportunities for high-net-worth individuals, and raises capital for various bespoke investment opportunities. It has raised over R1.4 bn in capital since its inception 5 years ago and is looking to continue this growth trajectory by increasing its team.

The candidate must be able to be sophisticated and have a high degree of financial acumen which they can leverage to instil trust and confidence in investors.

  • Favorable fee structure, where we typically do not get paid much unless the client gets a return above the performance hurdle rate (usually 8%+)

Duties & Responsibilities

This Role is mainly a sales and capital-raising role:

The key duties you will have are as follows:

– Absorb information on complicated investment products, and be able to relay this information and answer any questions on it to clients and prospective clients.

– Actively seek out new investors through lead generation, networking, and marketing

– Develop relationships with prospects and clients, understanding their needs to propose suitable

investment solutions.

– Ensure the achievement and exceedance of sales goals set by the business.

– Help with ad hoc tasks in the office such as due diligence, compliance, and administration

– Uphold the highest level of compliance procedures.

– Provide an exceptional customer experience, nurturing long-term relationships

– Stay up to date on the latest financial trends

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A DEGREE – ABSOLUTE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate studies advantageous
  • A good network would be very advantageous
  • Proven sales experience (Not necessary, but preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Own a car and be willing to travel.
  • Passionate about finance and investing
  • Sophistication and class – Must be able to dress well and present yourself in a classy manner

Package & Remuneration

R15 000 CTC + Attractive Commission Structure -> If hit sales targets can comfortably earn R40 000+ per month
